- 2 cups of low-sodium chicken broth
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
- 1 box of ziti paste
- 1 can crushed tomatoes
- 2 tsp dried basil
- Start by spraying the instant pot using Cooking Spray, then pour the chicken broth and heavy whipping cream.
- Pour it separately, and chicken broth should be first.
- Next, add the garlic, pepper and salt to the liquid.
- After that add the paste, be sure to do not stir.
- Pour the crushed tomatoes, onto American paste, then sprinkle the oregano and basil on the tomatoes (do not stir).
- Then, tighten the Instant pot lid, set the valve to the seal position, and choose manual.
- Change the time to 5 minutes, it takes about 8 minutes for pressure then the 5 minute cooking time will start.
- Let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes.
- Then release the remaining pressure quickly, add parmesan cheese and stir it all until evenly mixed.
