I can't give a definitive answer, but, Stromboli is made from a rectangular dough that has been filled with fillings, then rolled into log and baked.

Whereas calzone, made from a circular dough, then the contents are placed in the middle, then folded into a semicircular shape and baked. Calzone is an Italian dish, which refers to a folded pizza, and this dish was born in the Naples region, Italy. There are several main ingredients that you must have, one of which is sausage. This recipe requires fresh sausages that need to be cooked.

You can choose whatever sausage you like, and I can't recommend any product, because it depends on your taste.
